Erica Swirsky is a current Education Policy Studies master's student at George Washington University (GW). She received her bachelor's degree from Middlebury College in Economics and Anthropology. During her undergraduate education, Swirsky studied how high school seniors make their post-graduation plans. She received a grant from the Middlebury College Conflict Transformation Collaborative to conduct research with the American Council on Education (ACE) on race-neutral college admissions policies. After graduation, she returned to ACE as a Research Associate and worked on a wide range of projects including federal student aid, rural education, and nontraditional learners.
