Dr. Maxine Freund

Dr. Maxine Freund, faculty affiliate of the Forum on Democracy & Education, is the Associate Dean for Research and External Relations at the George Washington University Graduate School of Education and Human Development. She is also the Director of Accreditation and is a tenured Professor in the Department of Special Education and Disability Studies. Dr. Freund has been engaged in the preparation of special and general educators for over 30 years. Prior to her current role, Dean Freund served as the director of the Office for Partnerships and External Relations at GSEHD.
