Micha Lemen is a doctoral student studying Curriculum and Instruction at George Washington University. They received their bachelor’s degree from the University of Utah with a major in Biology and a minor in Political Science, before continuing their studies at Boston University, obtaining a Master of Education in Curriculum and Teaching. Throughout their academic career they have been deeply involved in promoting voting initiatives and voters’ rights through the Andrew Goodman Foundation as well as their own civic voice through independent student advocacy. Their areas of study include student perspectives in STEM, civics education, and student voice.
